Wow, this weekend came up swiftly, didn’t it? I don’t know that I’ll actually watch the Democratic National Convention live but I am very excited for it to go well. It is in nearby Denver, and I’m up in the people’s republic of Boulder.

Does this mean the Olympics are over? Answer: It has been 14 days and the olympics are 16 days. The closing ceremony in on August 24th at 8am.

Update: Joe Biden, because nothing says “presidential” more than a guy who ran for president and was soundly rejected? Ah well. I watched a few minutes of Biden’s speech today (Sat) and he did ok, so perhaps he will be a good choice.
