I’ve cut my calories way down (as far as I can tell) and yet I haven’t lost a pound. (My housemate pointed out that I haven’t gained a pound either, which is true I suppose). I haven’t been to Jamba Juice in, like, six days. I’ve had minimal breakfasts (a handful of cereal instead of a bowl), minimal lunches (less meat in the sandwich and less or no dressing), minimal dinners (soup — except yesterday when I had spaghetti after many days without), and only an occasional snack after dinner (crackers and peanut butter). But my tummy is still round(-ish) and I’m still 147 instead of what I want to be, which is 140. I suppose maybe my extra sleep has impacted my caloric burn. I don’t know. All I know is this is the slowest loss of weight ever for me. Usually if I cut back on calories, I drop a pound every other day. Not this time. My metabolism must be changing! I cry foul.
I’ve been craving, but have resisted, snacking. Today I was craving, but did not stop for, a brownie.
