I’ve got to get my life in order, because substituting work for life is not cutting it. There’s no satisfaction in a company that is constantly running out of money. And I try to remind myself that even if the company weren’t in that situation, there is more to life. Ideally I should be applying my life towards a marriage and a widescreen television. Marriage includes a lot (note the emphasis), so mentioning a “widescreen television” in the next breath is not really the shallow juxtaposition that it seems.
