This CNET reviewer looks so depressed with her scowls and her brown sweater. But she is previewing the Samsung NX10 camera, so:
Update: My take on the war between the Olympus EP-1 (surpassed by the Olympus EP-2), the Panasonic GF1, and the Samsung NX10 can be summed up as: they each almost made something amazing, but they all missed making a perfect item. If I had to choose between the EP-2 or the GF1, I’d choose the EP-2 and resign myself to having to attach a small flash to it (since it has none). If I had to choose between the EP-2 and the NX10, I don’t know what I’d do. The NX10 is a bit ugly. I expect that Samsung will respond to criticism that the NX10 is ugly by making another camera that is similar technologically, but no longer resembles a DSLR. If they do so, that may be the “perfect” camera.
But for now, it may be a matter of price for most people. The EP-2 is unaffordable, and the NX10’s price is unknown but expected to be cheap. We’ll see.
