I’m not a fan of Lord of the Rings, so I was out-of-character in my dream of last night, wherein I moved grains from the stalks of plants to the back of a truck by “going Gandalf” on them — raising my arms up and waving the grains to surge up and off their stalks, and sail in a column of beige over my head and into the back of the truck. It was noisy, ferocious, and it saved a LOT of time. It was like telekinesis, except instead of lifting the individual items as I’d typically do in dreams, it was more like creating a pathway of movement in which the grains would fly on their own. So it was not the same sort of technique I’d use to, say, lift a person up. Perhaps that’s why I coined the term “going Gandalf on it” — because this was more like magic.
I think some of it was Quinoa.
