Subj: Re: Regular Checking – Question about a Fee

Posted in Uncategorized by Will on Monday, October 11th, 2010 ~ 12pm

UPDATE: They’ve finally fixed it (we’ll see if that’s true) after I wrote this: “And like clockwork, YET AGAIN, you have improperly given me a fee. I have asked you to correct this every month for the past year, and as you can see I am now logging each month’s correspondence to show without a doubt that you have not resolved it. Yet again, here is the phantom fee that you accidentally charge me each month: “10/07/2010 Monthly Maintenance Fee”. Yet again I remind you that if my combined balance of savings + checking is equal to or greater than $[redacted], I have no maintenance fee. How soon before I make a YouTube video out of this?

It has happened AGAIN. See “09/09/2010 Monthly Maintenance Fee $12”, even though my combined balances never dropped below $[redacted] Please not only refund me the $12, but fix the problem since it occurs every month, as evidenced by this series of messages (in which I contact you every month to fix the mistake, and it is never fixed).

It has happened AGAIN. “08/10/2010 Monthly Maintenance Fee $12”. Why is it that you fail to correct this every month? Why do I have to call or email you every month to have you correct this? I have no doubt that the intention is that if I ever die of old age or something, you’ll be able to suck $12 out of my account each month until you have it all. FIX THE DARN PROBLEM. Stop making me have to contact you to fix it by hand each and every god damn month.

Yet AGAIN, a phantom $12 fee has appeared on my account, even though I am NOT SUBJECT TO any maintenance fee as long as my combined checking+savings is above $[redacted]. Which is it — well over $[redacted]! “07/09/2010 Monthly Maintenance Fee $12.00.” Please correct this $12 fee and for the love of God fix it so I don’t have to call you every single month to get this corrected. It’s a simple formula: If Checking+Savings >= $[redacted], then NO FEE.
