The Earth Is Full by Thomas Friedman

Some dimwit wrote a rebuttal claiming market forces will sort it all out, and claiming “Civilizations adapt to the challenges of nature”, to which someone keenly replied “Yes, and the way they typically adapt is by collapsing.” Here’s the original, sensible editorial:
