For the past few nights I wasn’t getting any sleep and was feeling unfocused in the daytime (and not in a good way). So last night I tried sleeping with my tunes on, and it really seems to have improved things. I guess the music gave my mind something to hold onto, so sleep wouldn’t be a complete freefall into randomness. I know part of my mind was paying attention to the music because several lyrics were in my conscious mind when I awoke (and not in an annoying way, just present). Maybe a couple more nights of this.
