Disassembling Bassist's stuff

Posted in Personal by Will on Sunday, June 8th, 2008 ~ 6pm

Ew. Bassist’s bathroom. Cleaning. Tried. Needs second sweep. And third …maybe an airstrike. Also took down most of his posters and put them in a tube for him. Disassembled a broken down chair. Vacuumed a second time. Threw out bathroom supplies left under sink. Good exercise, but place still doesn’t look clean yet.

I was under the impression that Tim wanted the posters up. Also, those bathroom supplies were Tim’s, not mine.

And yes, the bathroom is a war zone. It was the one place I absolutely hated to clean.

A couple weeks ago, Tim and I looked at the walls and talked about it in the context of how to make the new guy feel welcome. Tim said he wanted to keep all the music posters up, on the two walls that are already predominantly music posters already. I agreed the music posters really make the space look good. We talked about how by taking down the movie posters on the one wall that they were on, the new person would have a bare wall (the wall behind the futon) to decorate as he sees fit. So, after that discussion, I bought a poster tube for safe storage of your movie posters, and Tim said he was going to take them down shortly.

Tim had been busy, so I went ahead and rolled up the movie posters. Only then did Tim say he’d been thinking of leaving the movie posters up. But that contradicted our conversation, indeed, I wouldn’t have bought the poster tube for nothing, and Tim wouldn’t have said he’d be taking them down shortly. So I can’t speak for what Tim was thinking, only for what we discussed.

So anyway the music posters are up, the movie posters are down, and they’re tubed and safe and sound. The tube also has the KBCO green-painted sheet rolled up inside it.

We are accumulating a box of stuff as we find it, for instance we found your software CD binder. I am not sure if your storage facility has a combination lock or a key lock; if it is a key lock we’ll just hold the box here. If it is a combination lock send the combo our way and we’ll eventually drive it over.

    Good luck on the sandles!

It’s a key lock. Asa has the key, so you should talk to him if you want to try and get inside. His number is programmed into the phone.
