And a water supply
Today I thought to myself “all I need is a plot of land to raise some food, and that’s all…We could go back to something simpler, as long as some parts of our society continued as before (water supply, medical, shipping).” Then I thought to myself: “Work must indeed be a sedative, as others have suggested, for if a single day off gives me radical thoughts like that, then surely if everyone stopped working, the world would change, and change utterly.” Then later, as I settled more into routine, I went back to thinking “Oh if I only had a million dollars,” which is what everyone is supposed to think.
